Central Texas Farm Credit Welcomes Davey Crandall as Loan Officer

Central Texas Farm Credit is pleased to announce the hiring of Davey Crandall as a Loan Officer in its Haskell office.

Crandall previously served as an intern with the organization during the summer of 2025 and recently graduated from Texas A&M University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Agricultural Economics and Animal Science. A native of Earth, Texas, he now resides in Knox City, where he enjoys staying connected to the land and the agricultural way of life.

From a young age, Crandall has been actively involved in agriculture, gaining hands-on experience working in feedyards, on ranches, and on a row-crop farm, as well as apprenticing under a farrier. Today, he remains involved in the cattle industry through his family's small operation, where he is keeping an eye on a handful of stocker calves. His background reflects a lifelong commitment to agriculture and a deep appreciation for the producers and rural communities that sustain it.

“We are excited to welcome Davey to our Haskell team,” said Kassidy Swonger. “His agricultural background and firsthand understanding of the challenges and opportunities facing rural producers give him a unique perspective. Davey’s work ethic, community ties, and willingness to serve others make him a valuable addition to our team and the customers we support.”

In his role as Loan Officer, Crandall will work with farmers, ranchers, agribusinesses and rural landowners throughout the region, helping customers find financing solutions that support their operations and long-term goals.

Outside of work, Crandall enjoys competing in rodeos, hunting, golfing, and cooking outdoors. Much of his free time is also spent maintaining and improving his property in Knox City.
