Andrew Young Promoted

Central Texas Farm Credit is proud to announce the promotion of Andrew Young to Branch Manager, recognizing more than two decades of service, deep community roots, and unwavering dedication to the agricultural families of Central Texas.

Young has been a valued member of the Central Texas Farm Credit team since 2003. A proud native of Coleman County, Young grew up understanding the significance of the land bank in rural communities. He fondly recalls the days when Farm Credit was the trusted institution for purchasing land—and later experienced that firsthand when he used a Farm Credit loan to purchase his first piece of land, a milestone that fueled his passion for helping others achieve their own agricultural dreams.

“Andrew’s character, knowledge, and strong relationships within our communities make him an incredible asset to Central Texas Farm Credit and it’s member/borrowers.” said Jeff Bedwell, Senior Vice-President Lending.

Throughout his 20+ year career, Young has taken great pride in watching farmers and ranchers grow, succeed, and pass on their operations to the next generation. His work is driven by a genuine desire to meet the financial needs of agricultural producers and to support the long-term sustainability of rural communities.

Young holds a Bachelor of Science in Financial Management from Abilene Christian University, giving him a strong academic foundation to complement his hands-on agricultural lending experience.

In addition to his contributions at Central Texas Farm Credit, Andrew is deeply involved in his community. He serves on the Coleman County Farm Bureau Board, is an active member of the Coleman Rodeo Association, and participates in the Burkett-Adams Cemetery Association. His commitment to service extends beyond his professional life, shaping the way he supports local families, youth programs, and civic initiatives.

Outside of work, Young is a devoted father who treasures watching his children excel in their academic and extracurricular activities. His strong family values mirror the cooperative spirit that defines Central Texas Farm Credit.

“I’m honored to step into this new role,” Young said. “Central Texas is home, and the people here mean everything to me. Helping our members achieve their goals—and watching their operations thrive—is truly the most rewarding part of this work.”
