Central Texas Farm Credit recently promoted Jeff Bedwell to branch manager of the Brady based lending institution.
Bedwell is a Tarleton State University graduate and began his Farm Credit career in 2007 as a loan officer trainee. Prior to joining Farm Credit he worked farm equipment industry as a sales representative. He is an active member of the Brady community serves as President of the Kiwanis Club, and is a member of the P&Z Commission. Jeff and his wife, Lauren have two young children and are members of First United Methodist Church.
“Jeff has been a great addition to our team since joining us in January 2014. He is very friendly and outgoing and has done a lot to increase awareness of CTFC in the Brady area,” says Jimmy Chambers, Central Texas Farm Credit chief executive officer. “Jeff is very deserving of this promotion and I can’t wait to see what the future holds for our Brady branch under his leadership.”
Central Texas Farm Credit provides financing for all types of rural real estate, including farms, ranches, rural homes and recreational property. The lender also finances livestock, equipment and the working capital needs of farmers, ranchers and agribusinesses. The Coleman-headquartered cooperative has branch offices in Brady, Brownwood, Coleman, Comanche, Haskell, San Angelo and San Saba. It is part of the nationwide Farm Credit System, which celebrates its 100th anniversary this year.
