CTFC awards scholarships to five area youth

EARLY, Texas ― Central Texas Farm Credit (CTFC) awarded $2,000 scholarships to five high school seniors. The 2023 scholarship recipients include Riley Carver, Rheanna Kleman, Sydney Partin, Kourtney Peacock, and Britni Roberts.

The CTFC scholarship committee selects recipients based on honors and awards, community service, school involvement, extra-curricular activities, and an essay.

“At Central Texas Farm Credit, we are committed to supporting the youth in our rural communities,” Jimmy Chambers, CTFC chief executive officer said. “We had a record number of applications for this year’s scholarships, and the applicants were all exceptional. I have no doubt that our scholarship winners will all have a positive impact on rural America and agriculture.”
